The police caught a proverbially big or heavy fish during heavy traffic checks in the Tyrolean Kundl. A small truck was overloaded by no less than 2.2 tons. The Turkish driver was banned from continuing his journey. Follow ads.

As part of the heavy vehicle inspections, officials from the Tyrolean state transport department took a closer look at the small truck with a maximum permissible total weight of 3.5 tons. The police found that the vehicle was overloaded by 2,200 kilograms or almost 63 percent. The driver was forbidden to continue driving. “The rear axle was even 85 percent overloaded,” say the investigators. The driver – a 27-year-old Turkish man – was banned from continuing his journey.
