Disney+ is adding a special highlight to its program today with the 11th season of “Futurama” after fans had to wait for new episodes for years.

In July 2023, you will once again find new series and films on Disney+, which as of today also includes the 11th season of the cartoon series “Futurama”. After a decade hiatus, you reunite with Fry, Bender, and Leela, who have new adventures in the future.
The numbering of the new season could lead to confusion, because one often reads online that instead of season 11, season 8 “Futurama” is now appearing. That’s because the show’s creators edited seasons from direct-to-DVD movies after the fact, increasing the total number of seasons.
The new episodes show you the well-known characters who are back in New New York after a problem with the timeline. As always, unexpected challenges await you there. A virus has spread through the city and Professor Farnsworth (Billy West) has invented a test that is probably based on the corona tests that we have had to deal with a lot in recent years.
