“Good news, everyone”: Futurama returns after eight years. Matt Groening’s popular sci-fi animated series is set to stream on Hulu. Initially, only one season is planned.
Futurama: 20 new episodes appear on Hulu
Streaming provider Hulu has confirmed that Futurama is returning with new episodes after a long absence. It should be in 2023 20 brand new episodes give, which corresponds to a season. Whether and how it will continue after that is not yet certain and will depend on how the new edition is received by viewers. Many of the characters’ voice actors are back. Production is scheduled to begin in February 2022.

A big question mark there is still behind one of the main characters. Whether John DiMaggio, who spoke the robot Bender in the English original, will be part of the game again has not yet been clarified. According to a report, negotiations are still pending.
