TF1 broadcasts this Monday evening the last two episodes of Avenir, an unusual fantasy series with Kev Adams. Co-written by the latter, alongside Frank Bellocq (Happy We Year), Elodie Hesme and Daive Cohen (The New Adventures of Aladdin), this 6-part fiction follows Eliott, a young appliance salesman who will discover that he can communicate by email with his him from 20 years ago.

He will then use this power to change the past and thus influence his present. But he quickly realizes that the slightest change can have serious consequences on his life and that of his loved ones.

In the last minutes of the last episode, the main character played by Kev Adams finally manages to put his present back in place, and finds his whole family happier than ever.

But while he savors his happiness, he discovers on television that Eva Sax (Marilyn Lima) has become a wealthy industrialist. It is then that Eliott receives a phone call from his future self who asks him to stop the young woman by all means. It is therefore with an open end that season 1 of Avenir ends.

Is a sequel possible?

With such a final, TF1 viewers are entitled to wonder if a season 2 is planned for Avenir. Kev Adams told our colleagues from Télé 7 jours that he was already developing a second burst of episodes with his co-authors.

Contacted by Puremedias, TF1 did not however confirm that a season 2 had already been signed, although discussions on a possible new burst of episodes are on the table, as is the case for all the series launched by the company. A. Only the hearings will tip the balance in favor of a season 2.

Unfortunately, the figures for the first two evenings of broadcast do not necessarily play in favor of the series. Only 2.84 million curious on average gathered in front of their television during the broadcast of the first two episodes, and 2.68 million for the following episodes.

Figures at half mast which are however offset by the excellent score of the series on the target of women responsible for purchases aged under 50 (FRDA-50), which was 32.5% on the first evening and 28.7 % last Monday.

Find the last two episodes of Avenir this Monday March 13 from 9:10 p.m. on TF1.
