If Motorola’s news is mainly focused on its high-end models, in particular the Edge 30 Fusion, Neo and of course Ultra, the manufacturer does not count less on its – many – entry and mid-range models. to make up the bulk of its sales. Its Moto Gs with multiple iterations thus gain new versions, announced discreetly by Motorola. They are four in number and respond to the names of Moto G13, G23, G53 5G and G73 5G, the first two favoring 4G connectivity.

The G73 5G and G53 5G are of course the most advanced devices in the range. The G73 5G, announced at €299, features a 6.5-inch Full HD screen (LCD at a refresh rate of 120 Hz), under which we find a MediaTek Dimensity 930 chip, flanked by 8 GB of RAM. A dual rear photo module comprising a 50 megapixel main sensor (f / 1.8 wide-angle optics) and a second 8 Mpx sensor (ultra wide-angle f / 2.2) complete the set, which is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 30 W charging.

With some compromises, the G53 5G – announced in China late last year – has an introductory price of €249. It also has a 6.5-inch LCD panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, but its definition is limited to HD+. The chip that powers the device is also more modest, since Motorola opts for a Snapdragon 480 (5G) with 4 GB of RAM. The smartphone’s back photo block is identical to that of the G73 5G, as is its battery, which however is content with a 10 W charge.

Two 4G smartphones for less than €230

At thirty euros less, since it is announced at 229 €, the Moto G23 is for its part driven by a SoC Helio G85 from MediaTek, whose modem is only compatible with 4G networks, and accompanied by 4 GB of living memory. It borrows its 30W battery and charging from the Moto G73 5G, while its screen is similar to that of the G53 5G, except that its refresh rate does not exceed 90Hz. angle is limited to 5 MP. A third 2 Mpx sensor, with f / 2.4 optics, is finally dedicated to macro photography.

The Moto G13 goes below the 200 € mark (199 € to be exact). Equipped with the same screen as the G23, the same chip, the same amount of RAM and the same battery (with a 10 W charge), it could almost boast of carrying the same photo unit, if not was not satisfied with a 2 megapixel ultra-wide-angle module. Its front photo sensor displays 8 megapixels, against 16 Mpx for the G23.

Finally, we note that this quartet of smartphones displays a very homogeneous design, all sporting a punch intended to house their front photo module. Announced under Android 13, these devices are now available on the Motorola site.
