SCHLOSS ELMAU, Germany, June 27 (Reuters) – G7 leaders meeting in Germany on Monday condemned the “abominable” Russian bombing of a shopping center in Kremenchuk, Ukraine.
“We stand united with Ukraine in mourning the innocent victims of this cruel attack,” the G7 leaders said in a joint statement posted on Twitter by the German G7 Presidency.
“Indiscriminate attacks against innocent civilians constitute a war crime,” they add. “Russian President Putin and those responsible will be held to account.” (Report Thomas Escritt, French version Bertrand Boucey)
