The Prime Minister, Gabriel Attal, announced Tuesday that he was going to table “a second green industry bill”, which “will notably propose asking” the National Commission for Public Debate “to concentrate its work solely on green industry projects”. national scope”.

“It will be six months saved in the procedures for the other projects: the bureaucracy which retreats, it is freedom which advances,” argued the head of government during his general policy speech to the National Assembly.

Parliament adopted a first green industry bill on October 11, with the aim of reindustrializing the country while promoting the ecological transition.

It aimed to “halve” the deadlines for setting up factories, currently estimated at 17 months, by anticipating administrative procedures.

“In Germany, it is half as much,” Mr. Attal underlined on Tuesday, while the executive has made the revival of industry one of its economic priorities.

The bill adopted in October should also facilitate the mobilization of private savings, rather than public money, in particular with a new product, the “future climate savings plan”, from which the executive expects one billion euros. collection for the green industry.
