He evokes the difficult period which followed the discovery of his homosexuality, but also the tragedies which his family had to face a few years ago.

A brutal loss
When asked about his potential desire for a child with his partner, Stéphane Séjourné, Gabriel Attal replied that he was not at this stage for the moment. “I spend my family time taking care of my little brother“He said. Indeed, the politician is a little boy’s big brother.”Five years ago, my first cousin died in a car accident. She left behind a 3 year old boy, Nikolai. My mother and her partner adopted him“, he explained.
A very sad story, which did not prevent the two brothers from being very close. “He’s going to be 9 years old, and we get along really well. I take him to the movies, we go to Disneyland, he comes home on weekends, we watch old movies“, he confided.
