Gabriel Attal mocked after receiving his family at Bercy

On May 20, Gabriel Attal is appointed to the Ministry of Public Accounts within the new government of Elisabeth Borne. From the top of his 33 years, the young politician already has a great career to his credit. Graduated from Sciences Po in 2018, he becomes the youngest member of the government under the Fifth Republic by winning the post of Secretary of State for Youth. Two years later, Gabriel Attal became the spokesperson for the government and one of the key figures in French politics. Moreover, he was able to impose himself in the media during the management of the health crisis linked to Covid-19.

Very quickly, he became very close to Emmanuel Macron and the latter seemed very comfortable with his minister. Without too much surprise, Gabriel Attal was entitled to a promotion during the last cabinet reshuffle of last May. Thus, he would have rreceived his mother, his stepfather, his two sisters, his aunt and his young cousin in his new office on the 5th floor of Bercy. Some have them moreover compared to the famous family of Bouzolles. “It looked like the Tuches” would have joked a collaborator of Gabriel Attal. The latter has never reacted to this remark. Maybe he just didn’t know. In any case, he seems busy with his new business and this job he wanted so much. “I like to negotiate. I wanted a technical ministry, and the Budget is both technical and very political. You spend half your time in Parliament and I love it” confided Gabriel Attal to the French media.
