If he looks back on his life, the comedian also confides in his relationship with alcohol. “On stage, I describe myself as ‘an asymptomatic alcoholic’. Gad Elmaleh then explains that he was a real alcoholic: “Me, I drank at all times. I was happy, I drank; I was unhappy, I drank; I gave a good show, I drank; a bad show, I drank. It was too much…”. Fortunately, the actor has been able to reduce his alcohol consumption. And that’s not the only addiction he quit. Indeed, the comedian also admits to having definitively stopped the cigarette. In order to find a certain balance in his life, the actor today pursues a spiritual quest.
