Gaisberg bus – hikers had to wait more than an hour

Blue skies, sunshine – many Salzburg residents took advantage of the glorious autumn weather for a trip to the Gaisberg on Sunday. The conditions for a hike on Salzburg’s local mountain were excellent, but the mood quickly plummeted. Because: Unlike last time on sunny days, the Gaisberg bus only ran every 1.5 hours – and not every 20 minutes. “The bus that went down could not take any more passengers at the cistel because it was so full,” says a Salzburger annoyed. The last announcement was actually quite different.
