For the role as Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot really had to riot in preparation: almost six hours of work-out a day.

Two hours of gym, two hours of martial arts training and one and a half hours of horse riding: that was Gal Gadot's (35) daily routine for six months before filming of "Wonder Woman 1984" started. The 35-year-old revealed in an interview with the "Bild" newspaper.

"That was definitely exhausting and I have to admit that I was completely exhausted every day during my training time," the actress remembers. She also trained so hard because the role is so "iconic and strong" and she felt a certain responsibility: "I couldn't look weak because that wouldn't come across well on screen." All the effort and pain would have "definitely been totally worth it," explains Gadot.

The hard drill beforehand made the stunts easier for her, even if they were sometimes "very exhausting". So she was able to "enjoy the scenes more". On the emotional level, in comparison, she had "no great difficulties". Her colleagues and director Patty Jenkins (49) would have stood by her side with advice and action in the more difficult scenes anyway.
