In the “GALA Beautyprobe” we test the most exciting new products. Included in September: The Medi Lift mask from Face Gym, the anti-aging lip care from Dr. Mi and cooling eye pads from Annemarie Börlind.
As soon as a new month begins, we regret having to adapt our skin and hair to it. Especially in autumn they need more moisture and some support. Whether a small facial workout, extra Lip care or compensation for dark circles under the eyes – our beauty editors are currently using the following products, which have been found to be one hundred percent good.

Product: Medi Lift Mask from Face Gym
Price: approx. 424 euros
Promise: Face Gym’s successful concept is explained by the name of the brand itself: a facial workout. Thanks to electrical muscle stimulation, the Medi Lift mask promises immediate tightening and modeling of the lower half of the face. The serum used along with the mask is applied to the areas where the mask is placed and conducts the low voltage currents. There are three different workout sessions to choose from to specifically address individual needs.
Optics: The external appearance of the product caused my friend to look confused when he first used it. Because yes, I have to admit that I look a little visually wearing the mask Hannibal Lecter remembers, but what wouldn’t you do for beauty, right?
Effect: After the first workout session, my face felt firmer and firmer. But as with many things, the same applies here: only regular use leads to lasting and more intensive results. After six weeks, I can say that my face looks firmer and my jaw line, which unfortunately doesn’t quite match Angelina Jolie’s naturally, appears a little more defined.
Cozy factor: A facial workout without much movement? It couldn’t be more convenient! I admit, my boyfriend forbade me to wear the mask when he sat next to me on the couch because he found the sight a bit scary. But I’m happy to accept that. Especially in the evenings, I combine watching my favorite series with a little facial training. Dressed, get on the couch, and I’m ready. Oh, if only every workout were this relaxing.

Product: Lip by Dr. Wed
Price: approx. 79 euros
Promise: The lip care offers sensitive and thin skin rich and intensive care, which ensures fullness and elasticity within a very short time. Optics: The jar already makes you want more! The rich, cherry-red little pot looks exactly how I want my lips to look in the years to come.
Effect: The special lip care from Dr. Mi moisturizes my lips and creates a good foundation for a full, kissable mouth. After about a week, the skin around my mouth actually looks a little smoother and generally plump. A lot can be done here, especially preventatively…
Cozy factor: For me, being cozy also means feeling comfortable in my own body. Great lips are considered sensual and beautiful and therefore definitely contribute to this. And there is hardly a woman who wouldn’t like to have plump lips – including me, to be honest. With the retinol lip care from Dr. I therefore prevent wrinkles around my mouth so that my lips look plump and smooth for a long time.

Product: Pixi Color Correcting Undereye CC Crayon
Price: 12 euros
Promise: Designed to instantly neutralize the dark eye area with its effortlessly blendable and buildable formula. The velvety-soft, structured stick is intended to provide an immediate radiant and invigorating effect.
Optics: The narrow pen looks a bit inconspicuous, but the simple design of the packaging still appeals to me.
Effect: Actually I don’t like crayon pens Concealers because they are usually too dry for the eye area, but this product changed my mind about it after the first use. The application is so easy because you only have to blend with your finger for a few seconds to achieve a perfectly natural result. Best of all: you don’t need any powder! Nothing really creeps into my wrinkles, which is why I intuitively reach for the corrector almost every day. The crayon shape allows me to get very close to my lower lash line and the outer corner of my eyes, where I have a lot of darkness. The coverage is medium, suitable for no-makeup days or as a corrector under concealer if you have heavier shadows.
Cozy factor: There’s not much that bothers me about my makeup-free self – actually just blemishes and dark circles under my eyes. So when I want to feel “better” quickly, I focus on that. But I really don’t feel like pulling out concealer, brushes and powder at all. That’s why for me this crayon is coziness personified.

Product: Rose Nature Cooling Eye Pads by Annemarie Börlind
Price: approx. 30 euros for six pairs of eye pads
Promise: The strong cooling formula promises a refreshing start to the day. Luminescine are intended to give the eye area freshness and radiance, while the exclusive PR³ rose complex is intended to reduce the harmful effects of Blue Light.
Optics: After the great success with the golden eye pads in cooperation with Farina Opoku, Annemarie Börlind follows up with the Rose Nature Eye Pads. The pink eye pads have Rose Nature lettering and are sure to be the new beauty hit on social media.
Effect: To be honest, I use eye pads almost every day and therefore know almost every variant. I prefer to keep them in the fridge to further enhance the cooling effect. I leave the Rose Nature Cooling Eye Pads with the gel side on my eye area for about ten minutes before I take them off again. The area feels wonderfully refreshed and well moisturized – the perfect start to the day.
Cozy factor: Especially in the colder seasons, I really love celebrating my me-time moments. Starting the day in the morning in a bathrobe with eye pads and a tea or coffee – wonderful!
