Galaxy A15 5G: technical sheet and design on the run at Walmart

The launch of the Galaxy A15 5G should not be long. The operators Boost Mobile and Cricket Wireless have just displayed the smartphone on the marketplace of the famous American brand Walmart. This affordable model, successor to the Galaxy A14 5G, no longer has any secrets.

What’s new in the Galaxy A15 5G

Through these pages, both mentioning that the Galaxy A15 5G is out of stock, we discover a first change in size in terms of the screen: a 6.5-inch Super Amoled panel with Full HD+ definition and refresh rate at 90 Hz. For comparison, the Galaxy A14 5G was limited to an LCD panel.

Second evolution, a more powerful chip: the MediaTek 6835. To support it, the Galaxy A15 5G benefits from 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage. We also learn the presence of a compatible 5000 mAh battery with fast charging at 25 W. Here too, it is a notable improvement compared to the Galaxy A14 5G, which was limited to a power of 15 W.

For the photo part, the two operators mention a photo model with three 50 + 5 + 2 Mpx sensors as well as a 13 Mpx selfie camera. The configuration thus changes significantly, with a second sensor with increased definition. According to previous rumors, Samsung would have opted for an ultra wide-angle instead of the depth sensor of the Galaxy A14 5G.

Finally, the published images confirm previous information leaks showing a deep blue color, flat edges with a prominence at the volume and power buttons, a fingerprint sensor on the edge or even less borders imposing and more uniform around the screen.
