After the Galaxy A15, A05s and A25, Samsung is preparing to announce the Galaxy A35 and A55. If they have already been talked about in recent months, these next mid-range models from the South Korean are showing themselves again. They deserve all the more attention since their predecessors, the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54, were ranked among the best quality/price ratios of 2023.

On Twitter/X, leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks) published visuals that he presents as official images of the two smartphones. If their authenticity is confirmed, they portend some changes on the design side. The two smartphones would in fact abandon the rounded edges of the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 in favor of flat edges. They would opt for the Key Island of Samsung’s latest entry-level models, a rounded area housing the power button and the volume control key.

We can see from these images that the Galaxy A35 benefits from a notable development compared to its predecessor: a front photo module housed in a punch replacing the teardrop-shaped notch featured by the A34. As for the Galaxy A55, the move upmarket is confirmed with an aluminum chassis instead of the usual plastic.

Finally, the images shared by Evan Blass reveal the four colors available at launch: green, pink, white and black. The main visual, showing smartphones splashed with water, points to an IP certification, probably IP67, which the Galaxy A54 and the Galaxy A34 already benefit from. Let us add that we also spot the shield symbolizing the Knox security solution, from which both devices should benefit.

SamMobile adds for its part that the two smartphones would be equipped with a 5000 mAh battery compatible with 25 W fast charging, stereo speakers, a USB-C port, 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB storage. They would also be equipped with NFC technology, wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 or even a photo block equipped with a 50 Mpx main sensor with stabilized wide-angle optics and a 5 Mpx macro module. The differences would thus be at the level of the ultra wide-angle (8 Mpx sensor for the Galaxy A35, 12 Mpx for the Galaxy A55) and the processor. You would have to count on either the Exynos 1380 for the Galaxy A35, or an Exynos 1480 for the A55. We have no doubt that the presentation of the two devices is imminent, which will also shed light on other elements, such as the duration of the updates accompanying these two smartphones… and their price.
