Is it worth buying?
The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G was only released in spring and, despite its comparatively low price, already offers you access to the latest 5G mobile communications standard. Furthermore, the display, design and camera cover most everyday requirements well.

The Galaxy A53 is pretty, has an excellent camera and gets updates for a long time. These are the three aspects that speak for the mobile phone. It will also be difficult because there are no real improvements compared to the predecessor. Sometimes even backwards. Because in terms of performance, battery life and price, you are simply better off with the A52s.

Another plus point is the update policy. Samsung promises you four major Android updates and five years of regular security patches for the Galaxy A53. Such a long update guarantee is rather the exception in this price range.
However, we noticed the battery life and performance of the Galaxy A53 negatively in the test. In this respect, the smartphone is not a total failure, but it falls behind the predecessor Galaxy A52s.
