An AMOLED screen, of course
Unsurprisingly, the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro are all equipped with an AMOLED panel. Unsurprisingly, because the Korean manufacturer has been recognized for many years for its expertise in the field. It is still Samsung’s high-end smartphones that benefit from some of the most beautiful screens on the market.
On an ultrabook, the advantages of an AMOLED panel are numerous. First, there is the “infinite contrast” inherent in this technology. When a pixel of an AMOLED panel should display black, it simply turns off. This avoids the problem of blooming, this luminous halo that surrounds the subtitles for example. The colors of AMOLED screens are also generally more vivid, and therefore more pleasing to the eye.
The Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro are both equipped with AMOLED screens, in 13.3 or 15.6 inches, with Full HD definition. And on the 360 version, it’s even tactile. We’ll come back to that a bit later.
Anthracite is the new black
Black (or anthracite) ultrabooks are not common on the market. And we wonder why when we see the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro. Their matte anthracite color is the most beautiful effect and immediately gives a very premium look to the product. The aluminum alloy used for the chassis also has something to do with it. We imagine that Samsung has bet on a deep black because it is reminiscent of the one that the AMOLED screen of these PCs can display.
Above all, the 360 version of the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro has the distinction of being a hybrid PC. Understand that the screen is touch-sensitive and the hinges that hold it can rotate 360 degrees. So you can place it as an easel, use it as a tablet, etc. The only limit is your imagination (and the hinge, too). The S-Pen stylus is also included in the box.
Designed to work anywhere
In the era of teleworking, workspaces coworking and the return of business trips, Samsung has bet on lightness and portability for its PCs. In its 13.3 inch version, the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro weighs only 868 grams. A real featherweight that won’t be felt in a clutch or backpack.
Samsung has not sacrificed connectivity on the altar of miniaturization. For example, all new Galaxy Book2 Pro include an HDMI port. There is also at least one USB-C port and a memory card reader on each PC.
On the 360 versions, Samsung has integrated the cream of current processors: the 12th generation Intel Core i7 (the latest) with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of SSD. You will have no trouble running all the most common office applications. For the classic Galaxy Book2 Pro, the manufacturer gives you the choice: Intel Core i5 or i7, 8 or 16 GB of RAM. It’s up to you to find the configuration that best suits your needs.
Finally, the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro are Intel EVO certified. The label of the processor manufacturer guarantees certain characteristics such as fast charging, instantaneous exit from standby or even autonomy.
