Galaxy Book3: Samsung unveils 5 new laptops, RTX 4070 and Intel 13th gen on the menu


Samsung has just presented its new range of portable PCs: the Galaxy Book3. Five computers were unveiled; four updates as well as a novelty, the Galaxy Book3 Ultra. The latter has a graphics card and wants to target creative people.

Surprise ! In addition to lifting the veil on its new Galaxy S23, Samsung presented its new line of laptops: the Galaxy Books 3. Among them, the Galaxy Book3 Ultra, a model equipped with a graphics card signed Nvidia.

It was in 2022 that the Korean brand made its big comeback on the European computer market with its Galaxy Book2 range. In 2023, rebelotte with the Galaxy Book3! Five models were unveiled: Galaxy Book3, Galaxy Book3 360, Galaxy Book3 Pro, Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 and Galaxy Book3 Ultra. This is a brand new product.

The Galaxy Book3 evolve in small steps

Little development on the side of Galaxy Book3 and Book3 360. Still available in 13.3 and 15.6 inch versions (Full HD LCD screen), they are equipped with an Intel 13e generation (U series). The 360 ​​version comes with a stylus. The Book 3 starts at 1299 euros while the 360 ​​model at 1399 euros.

On the side of the Pro models, Samsung is making some subtle, but noticeable changes. We thus have AMOLED panels (14 or 16 inches) in WQXGA with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. While they adopted an impractical 16:9 format on the Book2, Samsung has chosen 16:10 here, more suitable for the job. Inside, there is an Intel processor of 13e generation of the P series. The 13-inch model of the Book3 wants to be the emblem of ultra-mobility at Samsung with a weight of 1.17 kilos. The Galaxy Book3 Pro is displayed from 1999 euros in 14 inches and 2099 euros in 16 inches. For the 360 ​​version, it takes 2199 euros minimum.

Finally, the Ultra model is a newcomer to the series. With this PC, Samsung is clearly targeting creative people, those who want power to work, but also to have fun. It has a 16-inch AMOLED panel (WQXGA, 120 Hz, 16:10) as well as an Intel Core i7 or i9 processor of 13e generation (H-series). The particularity of the product is to embark either an RTX 4050 or an RTX 4070. Enough to satisfy the most demanding. The Core i7/RTX 4050 version is sold for 3499 euros while the i9/RTX 4070 version is sold for 3899 euros.
