Galaxy Ring: Samsung’s first connected ring would arrive in the second half of 2024

While Apple recently launched its first space computer, the Vision Pro, Samsung is preparing the arrival of a first connected ring in 2024.

Teased during the announcement of the Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra, the Galaxy Ring had already revealed some of its curves, but also some of its uses. Regarding the launch date, however, we only had rumors, with some having suggested a release before the end of 2024.

Daniel Seung Lee, in charge of B2B relations at Samsung, mentioned this new system last week on LinkedIn: “A new health and wellness device for the second half of the year”. As a bonus, two more than revealing hashtags, #GalaxyRing and #SmartRing, confirm that the frame is talking about Samsung’s connected ring.

So, we will have to wait until the second half of 2024 to have this new product in our hands. A priori, the Galaxy Ring could be made official during the traditional Galaxy Unpacked this summer.

Indeed, this Samsung conference, which takes place between July and August, is generally used to announce new foldable smartphones and tablets, but also connected watches. It would therefore seem logical to see another health accessory arrive on this occasion.

Concerning the technical sheet of the Galaxy Ring, Samsung has so far been stingy with information. We only know that this first connected ring will make it possible to monitor several health data, including heart rate, blood oxygen level and even sleep.
