Galaxy Ring: the first Samsung connected ring at the price of a Galaxy Watch 6

The Galaxy Ring is Samsung’s surprise in the year 2024. Supposed to be presented at the next Galaxy Unpacked, which should take place before the opening of the Paris Olympic Games, the connected ring is entitled to its share of rumors. The latest one mentions its prices.

THE leaker Yogesh Brar wrote on Twitter/X on May 22 that the Galaxy Ring would cost between $300 and $350 in the United States. By adding taxes, on average between 7 and 9% in the United States, the bill could reach $321/324.5 and $327/371.5.

In the language of Samsung connected watches, we would be similar to the pricing of the Galaxy Watch 6 Bluetooth in 40 mm and 44 mm versions. When they were launched, these were sold at €319 and €349.

Compared to the competition, The Verge points out that Samsung’s Galaxy Ring would be closer to the price of the Oura Ring Gen 3, starting at $299 for the Heritage model and rising to $349 for the Horizon version; or the Ultrahuman Ring Air ($349), Circular Ring ($281), RingConn Smart Ring ($279) and Evie Ring ($269).

We would thus have a coherent placement, reinforced by the popularity of Samsung. As a bonus, the South Korean manufacturer would adopt the subscription system of some of these brands in order to offer all the advanced features of the Galaxy Ring. The supposed price would be $5.99 per month or $69.99 annually.
