Galaxy S22: Samsung to unveil its new smartphones on February 8

The Galaxy S21 FE has barely been released when Samsung is preparing to lift the veil on its future high-end smartphones. The range of Galaxy S22 would be presented on February 8, understands the Korean news site Digital Daily.

According to this media outlet, a new Unpacked event (name given to the keynote of the South Korean giant) would be scheduled for that date, before launching pre-orders the next day for “a global launch of their marketing planned by February 24”. The Korean site shares a quote from a member of Samsung on the issue to support its information, which has so far not been confirmed or denied by the electronics giant.

A launch planned before MWC

If these dates are repeated by many media specializing in the new technologies market, it is also because they are close to those put forward by an American leaker Jon Prosser, who for his part advanced on December 21, a worldwide presentation on February 9, for a commercial launch scheduled for February 25.

If Samsung chooses these dates, the manufacturer would anticipate the MWC (Mobile World Congress), the great mass of mobile telephony which should be held in Barcelona (Spain) from February 28 to March 3 if the Covid epidemic allows it in Catalonia. .

Still, the dates put forward for the presentation of the Galaxy S22 are still rumored.

As with the S21 range, three models could be presented by Samsung next month: the S22, S22 + and S22 Ultra.
