Samsung and Ledger enter into a partnership. For cryptocurrency and NFT enthusiasts, this could be very good news. Finally, Ledger makes so-called hardware crypto wallets that secure your private key and can be used together with a smartphone and an app via Bluetooth.
Samsung describes the partnership in big words. It should be a door opener for Web3, the decentralized and cryptocurrency-based future version of a new Internet, and the Metaverse. In order to be well prepared for this, a secure environment for your own cryptocurrencies and tokens is essential. Both companies now want to focus on this.
According to a press release, the first step consists of both companies offering a bundle consisting of a new Galaxy smartphone, probably the Galaxy S23, and a Ledger hardware wallet (worth 149 euros) exclusively in Germany. The bundle should be available on Amazon.
In addition to the physical devices, the bundle should also contain some digital content. Buyers of the bundle also get a 100 euro voucher from Amazon and access to digital artworks by 3D artists as NFT. The promotion runs until February 1, 2023. However, the Amazon voucher can only be used to purchase the new Galaxy products.
