Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A52 5G: Samsung launches a new update

After the Galaxy S21, S22 and S23 last week, the January 2024 security patch is coming to other Samsung smartphones. Via three blog posts, SamMobile has indeed mentioned the availability of the update on the Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A52 5G.

Early in the morning of Tuesday, January 23, 2024, the media announced that several European countries, including France, could install this new batch of fixes on the Galaxy A34. Please note, the update version number is A346BXXS5BWL2.

The security patch was then released on the Galaxy S23 FE (version number S711BXXS2BWL7) and Galaxy A52 5G (A526BXXS6FXA1) in several European countries.

Unlike One UI 6, Samsung is not offering new software with this update. The South Korean firm, however, provides Google’s fixes linked to 75 Android security flaws and closes five vulnerabilities concerning its Galaxy smartphones and tablets.

To install the security patch, simply access the Settings of your Galaxy smartphone, go to the Software Update section and choose Download and install.

In addition to monthly security patches, Samsung is preparing the deployment of a major update for its Galaxy smartphones: One UI 6.1. Installed by default on the Galaxy S24, this version boosted by artificial intelligence will arrive before summer 2024 on a limited number of models.
