- The Galaxy S24 is now available in stores. Prices for the new Samsung cell phone start at 780 euros.
- An alternative is the S23 FE, which was also only released in October. It is currently available from Samsung starting at 699 euros.

Anyone who missed the pre-order offers for the Samsung Galaxy S24 can now find an alternative from the manufacturer. Samsung is offering the Galaxy S23 FE at a discount in its online shop. If you trade in your old cell phone, you will receive an exchange bonus of 100 euros, in addition to the purchase value of your smartphone.
Depending on the model and condition, Samsung will pay you another up to 440 euros for this. So you can save a maximum of 540 euros when purchasing. Samsung currently charges at least 699 euros for the S23 FE. Other dealers list the model from 549 euros.

If you take into account the exchange premium and the purchase value, you can currently get the cell phone at the cheapest price from Samsung. On top of that, the manufacturer adds a gift. The Galaxy S23 FE has only been available in Germany since December; the model is intended to be an affordable entry into the South Korean manufacturer’s premium models. Compared to the other S23 and the new S24 models, you have to make compromises in terms of the processor, among other things. This is the Exynos 2200, which was already used in the Galaxy S22 in 2022.
The camera is also not as powerful as the other models. For example, the telephoto camera only has a resolution of 8 megapixels.
