  • According to a new rumor, Samsung will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for the Galaxy S24+ in most countries.
  • This means that the middle model would have the same processor as the Galaxy S24 Ultra in many regions.
  • However, only an Exynos 2400 is planned for the basic model.

Right from the start, rumors were circulating that Samsung would again use its own Exynos processor for the Galaxy S24. However, this didn’t go down well with some fans, as many wanted to see a Snapdragon processor like the Galaxy S23. A new rumor shared by Ahmed Qwaider on X, among others, could give these fans hope.

According to him, Samsung will equip the Galaxy S24+ with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in most countries around the world, but certainly in the Middle East. This means that the Plus model has the same chip as the Galaxy S24 Ultra. However, there remains a small downer for Snapdragon supporters: the model will probably come onto the market with an Exynos 2400 in a few regions.

If this rumor turns out to be true, it will set the Galaxy S24+ apart from the base model. The latter will be released in all countries exclusively with the Exynos 2400. With the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Samsung is supposed to rely on Qualcomm’s high-end chipset everywhere.
