The photo part of the Galaxy S24 Ultra is undeniably one of the best on the smartphone market in 2024. Samsung is nevertheless seeking to refine its service in order to offer the most convincing experience to users.
After initial improvements made at the end of February 2024, the South Korean firm revised its copy at the end of March via the April security patch. But these will not be the last photo developments of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Indeed, rumors point to the arrival of a new update in the coming weeks.
New photo update in June 2024
In a publication Twitter/X dated April 24, 2024, leaker Ice Universe points out that the new camera update would arrive in June. According to him, the deployment would have been delayed by Samsung, pushing him to correct his previous prediction, which was counting on the month of April.
He then explained that this version “will improve many camera issues […], notably the quality of the telephoto lens, the accuracy of the white balance and the presence of abnormal red colors” in the clichés.
And after ? Video AI with One UI 6.1.1!
In addition to this future update dedicated to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Ice Universe has mentioned this April 25, 2024 the next version of Samsung’s Android overlay. Through the latter, the leaker is counting on the arrival of a new artificial intelligence capacity on the video side.
SamMobile for its part assumes that Samsung would have “a more ambitious approach to implementing video AI on Galaxy devices with One UI 6.1.1” compared to Galaxy AI’s Instant Slow-mo feature. He also mentions the introduction of a generative AI function like Sora from OpenAI.
