The weekend was not kind to Samsung since the site of its Colombian branch inadvertently put online the page dedicated to its first big event of the year: Galaxy Unpacked 2023. An image published leaves no more room to doubt about the date of the conference and confirms the rumors that had been circulating until then.
According to the insert – promptly taken offline – the event of the South Korean juggernaut will take place on February 1st. This date had already been announced by the famous leaker Ice Universe at the end of 2022. There is therefore a very good chance that the month of February will start with the announcement of the Galaxy S23.
Three new phones (S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra) could come with a Galaxy Watch, though Samsung’s smartwatches are usually showcased during August’s Unpacked alongside the Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip. We are also entitled to expect the appearance of one or more new tablets. A continuation of the Tab S8 is more than uncertain, but it is not unlikely that Samsung will decide to unveil a Lite version of the Tab S8 or S8+, just to place itself in the mid-range field.
