The next big thing in connected watches should concern blood sugar monitoring. In addition to Apple, Samsung has reportedly been working for several years on a non-invasive tracking sensor of this type for its future Galaxy Watches.
According to a report published on April 26, 2024 by Pulse, things have progressed well for the South Korean firm, which would consider deploying this new feature during the second half of 2024.
The South Korean media reports that Hon Pak, head of Samsung’s health division, recently met with members of the Samsung Health platform advisory board at the Samsung Medical Center in Seoul to discuss the future of the digital health industry and the role of wearable devices.
