Samsung continues to improve the quality of the display for the Galaxy Z Fold 4. This is based on insider information. A first picture has now appeared.

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is upgraded by Samsung. Compared to its predecessors, the foldable will have a much less noticeable fold in the display. That’s good news for the longevity of the phone – and for fans.
The information comes from a tweet from the usually well-informed insider IceUniverse. Included is a photo showing the Z Fold 3 and 4 side by side. The characteristic “dent” in the center of the display is visible on the new cell phone, but not nearly as pronounced as on the predecessor.

Unfortunately, there is no information on how Samsung achieves this improvement. In the field of folding cell phones, however, Honor or Oppo have shown how it can be done. There the display is bent into a teardrop shape. The result is a display with almost no fold. It remains to be seen what trick Samsung has come up with.
