Kristin Davis posts throwback photos of herself and her “Sex and the City” co-stars for Galentine’s Day. However, one is missing.
20 year old opening photo
The first photo that the US actress published shows her and her former “Sex and the City” colleagues Cynthia Nixon (57) and Sarah Jessica Parker (58) at the 56th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, which took place in September 2004 .
The fourth of the legendary New York series girlfriends, Kim Cattrall (67), is missing from the 20-year-old photo. Parker and Cattrall are said to have fallen out while filming the series. The result back then: Davis, Nixon and Parker sat at the same table at the 2004 Primetime Emmys, while Cattrall sat somewhere else.
From 1998 to 2004, the four actresses enjoyed great success with the TV series. This was followed by two films (2008, 2010) with the quartet and the series sequel “And Just Like That…” (from 2021), in which Cattrall was no longer seen except for a brief guest appearance.
Kristin Davis plays the art-savvy family man Charlotte York in all of the formats mentioned. Cynthia Nixon stars as tough lawyer Miranda Hobbs. Sarah Jessica Parker played the philosophical columnist and fashion icon Carrie Bradshaw and Kim Cattrall played the love-struck career woman Samantha Jones.
“And Just Like That…”: Season three comes in 2025
In December it was announced that “Sex and the City” fans would have to be patient because it will take a while until the third season of “And Just Like That…” is released. This was shown by a streaming service Max published outlook on YouTube. Accordingly, there will not be new episodes until 2025 – and then again only with Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis.
