There are games that are fond of crossovers and there are those that excel at it: Dead by Daylight is clearly part of the latter category and the very latest partnership has just been revealed. Clue: his hero is stuck and he writes books.
Dead by Daylight, the king of crossovers!
Dead by Daylight still commands respect on a few specific points. First of all because it is undoubtedly THE asymmetrical multiplayer game which has truly endured and which terribly democratized the formula: as a reminder, this principle is based on a voluntary imbalance of numbers. Here for example, a player plays a single but powerful character who must hunt other players, in the shoes of four disadvantaged young men and women, who must cooperate to slow down their opponent and flee from him.
Dead by Daylight is part of a very horrific universe and since its arrival in 2016, the game from Behavior Interactive has brilliantly adapted. First by releasing his title on the different platforms – PC, then PS4 and Xbox One, Switch and finally PS5, Xbox Series, as well as a mobile version in 2020 – then by grabbing an astronomical number of players, which ensures real longevity.
Then, because crossovers with horrific and prestigious franchises have renewed the interest of the community : we have had partnerships with Freddy, Evil Dead, Scream, Stranger Things, Silent Hill, Halloween, Resident Evil, Left 4 Dead and even Alien, each time with the integration of key characters or creatures.
