Game news Jurassic Park returns to video games. This developer announces a new episode for its best-selling series
On the video game planet, dinosaurs are not yet extinct. This well-known developer has just announced a new Jurassic Park adventure. As usual, it looks very good.
Good news: the Frontier studio – Planet Coaster, Planet Zoo – is back for a new Jurassic Park video game! It’s in a communicated published this May 9, 2024 that the British company announces the signing of an agreement with Universal to create a third Jurassic World title. In the past, the team gave us Jurassic World Evolution 1 & 2 – two management games that were favorably received by critics. The precise name of the project is still secret, but according to Frontier, it will be part of its “franchise which has generated the most sales” (it’s Evolution). Obviously, this other title will also be a management game. In any case, its release is planned between the beginning of June 2025 and the end of May 2026.

Towards another bestseller?
“I look forward to providing you with more information on our future plans,” notes Jonny Watts, CEO of Frontier… In the same press release, the firm recalls that Jurassic World Evolution 1 & 2 are, respectively, the 1st and the second house titles that have generated the most revenue over the past two years. Moreover Jurassic World Evolution, the first of its name, is Frontier’s best-selling game to date.. At the time of its release (2018), the game had sold 1 million units in 1 month.
Hype still present
As in the past, Frontier intends to build on the return of Jurassic Park to theaters. After Jurassic World in 2015, then Fallen Kingdom and The World After in 2018 then 2022, we already know that the dinosaurs will be back in the cinema in 2025, more or less at the same time as the title of the British team. In the meantime, the company will not rest on its laurels. Beyond “Jurassic World Evolution 3”, we will be entitled to two other management games in the coming months (both still unannounced): one for fiscal year 2025 and a second for fiscal year 2027. Frontier is looking far ahead and intends to keep its place as one of the leaders of its kind.
