When will we be able to play PalWorld?
PalWorld is a bit of an unexpected encounter between Pokémon and Fortnite. This highly anticipated survival game in 2024 offers a vast open world focused on construction in which you will also have plenty of time to make friends with mysterious creatures called the “Pal”, who will become your workforce. With such a unique proposition, it’s no surprise that the title is among the ten games most desired by players on Steam.
Your pocket creatures actually have a bunch of different functions: they can fight, but also be used as shields, or sent into fields and factories. The developers of Pocketpair first want to collect the opinions of players before making the release officially, and PalWorld will therefore first be entitled to a release in early access for at least one year.
We want to optimize the overall quality of the game by making various improvements throughout Early Access, for at least a year. We will be making updates during Early Access as per our roadmap, always adding more content and improving game systems.
So on January 19 at 9:00 a.m., just a few days from now, you will be able to try PalWorld early access. The official game date has not yet been announced, but it will include the addition of “new Pals, new areas and dungeons to make exploration even more enjoyable, and new buildings and items to accentuate the survival aspect. “
PalWorld’s early access currently includes the systems inherent to the game experience such as capturing monsters, combat, exploration, construction or even the manufacturing of objects, enough to offer you everything from even generous sessions with already more than 100 monsters to capture in a vast open world and more than 350 objects. For now, you have to get from the platform Steam to access the first version of PalWorld, or on Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC. Note, however, that crossplay is not yet available. No pre-order is available, you must wait until January 19 at 9 a.m. to access a standard version of the game.
The advertised price is $29.99 and is expected to vary by region. Also note that Palworld will continue to be updated during early access and that a roadmap will soon be shared by the game team. Please note, however, that PvP will not be supported during the initial release , it is currently being tested internally. In the meantime, you can play Palworld alone offline or with your friends online, with 4-player co-op coming out of the box.
