The Last of Us: two games, one series, and a success that has lasted for 11 years
In two games and a series, The Last of Us covers more than 10 years. Launched in 2013 on PS3, The Last of Us was quickly ported to PS4, accompanied by its Left Behind DLC. A poster placed to echo Dina’s condition? Players disagree
All this means that the license remains in the news, and that players continue to browse the title in search of secrets or clues about the future of the license. Recently, the community’s attention was focused on a poster, which can be found in-game at a very particular moment On Reddit, a player with the pseudonym Quirk-The-Kenku published a capture, taken during the second chapter of the game, Seattle Day 1. In this chapter comes a moment where Ellie helps Dina reach the theater. On the road, a torn poster noted “Save Mother Earth“, but only the words”Save Mother” are completely readable.
However, shortly after, and not without getting rid of many infected people, we learned that Dina was pregnant. For Quirk-The-Kenku, no doubt, the poster announces that we discover shortly after. Several players share this theory, recalling that Naughty Dog likes to hide references and clues. However, others believe that the idea is exaggerated, and that it is simply a poster. To support this, the opponents put forward the idea that the announcement of the pregnancy only occurs a few minutes after the discovery of the postergreatly limiting the interest in teasing anything.
