A new disappearance has shaken the world of video games. Mutsumi Inomata, the official illustrator of the Tales of series, passed away a few days ago. The opportunity to pay tribute to the one who also worked on the anime Mobile Suit Gundam.

A sudden disappearance

Mutsumi Inomata died at the age of 63. Illustrator of the famous Tales of series from Bandai Namco, the latter spent part of her long career drawing the characters of the franchise. After the designer of Suikoden, Yoshitaka Murayama, and the creator of Dragon Ball, Akira Toriyama, the Japanese artistic world has been hit by a new disappearance. It was through a message posted by his sister on the artist’s account that the general public was made aware of this tragic news. In addition to the Tales of saga, Mutsumi Inomata was also an experienced animator since she can be found animating several major works: City Hunter, Urusei Yatsura, My-HiME and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED.
