Palworld is a colossal success. Two weeks after the launch, more than 19 million players had the opportunity to immerse themselves in it according to Pocket Pair (studio behind the software). In detail, 12 million people bought the title on Steam and 7 million players on Xbox (including Game Pass). Also on Microsoft’s console, Palworld is the largest launch for a third-party (not developed by Xbox) Game Pass game in history.

For those who missed the phenomenon, the title is a multiplayer survival game populated by mysterious creatures called Pals. There are a total of around a hundred to capture – which will help in combat, but also in building your base (in particular by collecting resources for you).

The game continues to receive a whole bunch of updates. The latest is version v0.1.4.0 released on February 1, 2024. It fixes a whole bunch of bugs, notably the one which allowed the Pals of another player to be captured if they had less than 30% HP. This update also made it possible to improve the stability of the games.
