Surprisingly, The Pokémon Company has announced an epilogue for the Pokémon Scarlet Purple DLC. Content which, however, seems meager and which raises the question: what if this wasn’t the Pokémon game to follow in January?
Five Legendaries to capture
Pokémon fans must be impatient in the new year 2024. There are less than two months to wait until the first Pokémon Presents of the year airs, scheduled without a doubt for February 27. It has not yet been made official but is logically expected on that date, as evidenced by the identical day for previous editions. Two months of waiting is still a long time. You must then be patient. Something achievable this January, especially with Pokémon GO. To mark the new year, Niantic has decided to offer four opportunities for players to capture Legendary Pokémon during 5* raids for a total of five Pokémon to collect.
Since January 1st and until Wednesday 10th, Cancrelove is available in Europe.

Then there are the three Pokémon Forces of Naturechimeras of the fifth generation, which will be available in turn in the game.

Finally, it is Moltres which will be captureable during Dark Raids throughout the first month of the year.
Pokémon Scarlet Purple: light content but perfect for closing the loop?
Appreciable content that should keep Pokémon Go players active, especially since the legendaries mentioned above (apart from Cancrelove) can be captured in their chromatic version. For comparison, this is much more than Pokémon Scarlet/Purple players on Nintendo Switch can expect at the moment. On the Raid side, the last episode of the saga once again distributes Serpente-Eau (exclusive to Scarlet) and Green-of-Iron (exclusive to Violet): the respective Paradox forms of Suicune and Virizion.
Although an epilogue for the DLC The Treasure of Zone Zero was announced recently, it promises to be sparse in content: enough to simply conclude the story launched in September with the Turquoise Mask. This ending will be available to all owners of the DLC, at 3 p.m. on January 11. Which could also serve as a transition with the next Pokémon episodes, which players will await with great hope by February 27. The loop would then be closed.
