Very recently, French publisher Ubisoft released a first CG trailer to present Assassin’s Creed Shadows. As rumors about it have long suggested, this episode will take us to the heart of feudal Japan to embody an adventure led by… two characters, in the style of Syndicate. To get back into the swing of things and regain your assassin’s reflexes, two episodes appreciated by players can be picked up for a pittance.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows comes out of the shadows and is already causing a lot of talk
On the Ubisoft side, this week was dedicated to licensing Assassin’s Creed. After months and months of rumors about the contours of the one we were still calling “Red” a few days ago, Ubisoft has lifted the veil on this next iteration, called Shadows. On the program, as we tell you about it in this articlea universe that contrasts with the previous parts: after Egypt, Ancient Greece and Norway of the Viking era, Ubisoft takes us to the heart of feudal Japan. If some of the players are already under the spell of this new adventure, the next Assassin’s Creed has already spilled a lot of ink, whether around the character of Yasuke – who we will play alongside another, Naoe – and a functionality on which the French publisher had to provide some clarification.
From now on, we will certainly have to wait for the Ubisoft Forward conference to discover a whole bunch of new information on this title, expected for November 15. It is true that we are rather impatient to witness a real gameplay demonstration. So, to better satisfy our impatience, Ubisoft had the idea of highlighting its catalog and offering us old parts at an unbeatable price. Right now, you can get your hands on two of the franchise’s most popular installments, and that should easily keep players busy until the release of Shadows.
This is commonplace on Steam: every week, the Valve platform highlights major titles and displays them at often very attractive prices. In this case, Ubisoft allows you, until May 26, to leave with two games Assassin’s Creed for a little over 20 eurosthanks to two promotions: one at -85% on Assassin’s Creed Odyssey (i.e. €8.99 for the Standard edition) and the other at -80% on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (i.e. €11.99 for the basic version). You are free to choose between ancient Greece or the shores of Norway!
Note that the title that catches our attention the most here is none other than Assassin’s Creed Odyssey since it has a common point Shadows, namely the development team. Effectively, it is the developers of Ubisoft Quebec who are creating this new entryeven if they were able to count, as the French publisher revealed, on no less than 15 other Ubisoft centers around the world to give birth to the fantastic epic of Yasuke and Naoe. Recommended at 89% by Steam players, there is no doubt that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will offer you a great overview of the production quality of Quebec teams!
