Game of Thrones: American fans loved the first episode of House of the Dragon

We will have to wait until August 22 to discover the new series “Game of Thrones”, but the first American reviews published on the web are already announcing a prequel that lives up to expectations!

A few weeks before its launch, the Game of Thrones prequel is already a success! The series, titled House of the Dragon, takes place a hundred years before the adventures of Jon Snow and company. The plot of the program will notably retrace the civil war which led to the disappearance of the dragons and the end of the golden age of Targaryen rule over Westeros.

Unveiled in preview to American journalists and influencers, the first episode aroused great enthusiasm, suggesting a prequel at the height of the original series. Some viewers have even hinted that this series could make us forget the painful memory of the final season of Game of Thrones, criticized by many fans of the program but also by the author of the novels, George RR Martin.

Check out the reactions of the American public following the preview broadcast of the pilot of the series House of the Dragon!

(“I didn’t like the last season of Game of Thrones at all. But I must admit that the first episode of the House of the Dragon series is very well done and I will continue to watch it. At the end of the pilot, we discovered a very cool trailer of the rest of the season.”)

(“Wow guys, just wow. More details in my next video, but I can already tell you this show is HEAVY. It already seems a lot more…serious. They’ve got it all figured out. Just wow.”)

(“The House of the Dragon pilot effectively expands its ties to Game of Thrones, introduces its main characters, and heralds the conflict that will be central to the series. It’s an easy-to-follow start with plenty of texture. and vibrant colors. So far, the series is shaping up to be a worthy successor.”)

The House of the Dragon series, prequel to Game of Thrones, can be watched exclusively on OCS City and OCS on demand every Monday from August 22!
