Sequences of The Last of Us Part 1 continue to leak and for now, it’s a disappointment. Players are not seeing the gameplay improvements promised for this PS5 remake. No interest ?
The Last of Us Part 1 is currently the victim of a big leak. But despite the efforts of Naughty and Sony Interactive Entertainment to plug it, several images and videos are still broadcast. Extracts that are far from convincing the fans.
The Last of Us Part 1: towards a disappointment for the fans?
After the images of a cult scene (which spoils thoroughly) and this same scene on video, The Last of Us Part 1 is still acting up. We do not know where the leak comes from at the moment but it tarnishes the reputation of the PS5 remake.
Of the new snippets seen in our review, many are wondering where the gameplay improvements are compared to TLOU Remastered on PS4. And at first glance, it is also difficult. As pointed out by Tom Henderson, this will be great for newcomers, but for fans it seems hard to justify a new purchase at full price. In the ResetERA topic, a member states that: “It should have been an upgrade at 15-20€”. It goes without saying that we will still have to wait for something other than a leak to confirm all this, but it seems to be off to a bad start for the fans who testify to their disappointment.
New graphics
According to the leaker and in view of these videos, the main improvements are in the animations and the sound environment. When Joel tweaks his weapons, we now see him adding sights, magazines etc. like in The Last of Us 2.
The Last of Us Part 1 is compatible with VRR and has two graphics modes. the “Loyalty” for 4K at 40fps and ” Performance “ for dynamic 4K at 60fps. Finally, the promise of more accessibility options for people with disabilities is being fulfilled. Again, Naughty Dog took the second game as a model.
