After two complicated years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Gamers Assembly returned to Poitiers in 2022, a successful edition. FuturoLAN obviously going to do it again this year with there Gamers Assembly 2023which will be held from April 8 to 10 at the Parc des Expositions.
For this 23rd edition, there Gamers Assembly is preparing to welcome 20,000 visitors, who will be able to attend and participate in more than 20 tournamentsincluding official competitions Riot Gamesbut there will be a lot of things to discover, here is the program:
- THE GAMERS ASSEMBLY: AN ESSENTIAL LAN THAT CONTINUES TO SEDUCE!
On the competition side, this year participants will be able to discover and rediscover their favorite tournaments on games such as League of Legends, Valorant And Team Fight Tactics.
For sports fans there will also be FIFA23 tournaments as well as versus fighting games. Two new tournaments are also in the game with osu! And osu!mania 4K. Open to anyone who can click faster than their shadow. The complete list of tournaments present can be found on the event website.
The Gamers Assembly is also a friendly weekend, between competition and community with its many ” Free Players “. They have been committed to creating an exceptional and unique experience, open to all, since 2018. Each year, they bring together several hundred participants from all over France and continue to attract more and more enthusiasts.
- AN EVENT TO BRING THEM ALL TOGETHER.
Being a player is not only a question of age and the best seniors in the New Aquitaine Region are determined to prove it. They return to the big stage to face each other during the competition ” Senior Trophy: Silver Geek “.
The GA is also getting a makeover this year. To honor the place that has hosted it since 2014, the family area of the Gamers Assembly becomes the Game Arenas in reference to the arenas of the exhibition center. A redesigned visitor area so that everyone can experience a unique moment by diving directly into the heart of the game thanks to 3 days of retrogaming activities, augmented reality, conferences and new workshops !
In addition, the event goes up a notch by hosting an official stage of a new European cosplay contest: Tournament of Champion. This step is organized by Try Hard Workshop, The League of Extraordinary Cosplayers and FuturoLAN. This is the only stage of this competition that takes place in France. It will allow the winner to participate in the grand final to be held in Vienna, Austria.
Other experiences, but not the least, around the Exhibitor Village, go to AGON by AOC booths to take advantage of its activities or to discover the latest products and innovations. Other professionals and players in the sector will be present such as Need For Seat.

Born in 2000 from the common dream of a few video game competition enthusiasts, FuturoLAN continues to bring the Gamers Assembly event and its sister editions to the Poitevin region.
