For several months, Sony has been attacking our computers by releasing a few exclusives that were previously only available on consoles. And the Japanese brand could soon deploy a feature as expected as it is dreaded.
After years of reluctance on this subject, Sony Interactive Entertainment has finally decided to offer its games on PC. Under the PlayStation PC label, there are well-known titles like Horizon Zero Dawn, god of war (2018), Days Gone and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. Last week was the incredible Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered which has arrived on Steam and the Epic Games Store. And that’s just the beginning…
Benefits to expect
Precisely, the files of the PC version of the game of Insomniac Games seem to contain information of the most interesting. Data discovered in the title’s code refers to the possibility of linking a PSN account to PlayStation games available on computer. Performing this link would allow the player to unlock rewards. In the case of Spidermanthese would be additional skill points.
However, it is currently not possible to link a PSN account to any of the PlayStation PC games. If it were to be deployed, the binding option should only be optional. A strategy different from that employed by Ubisoft or even Xbox, which requires a mandatory connection to their respective service on certain titles accessible via PC stores.
