During Gamescom, developers and publishers unveiled countless games and of course you could now just scroll through a list of all upcoming new releases and decide based on just the titles whether you give the games a shot. Better: You take a look at the following highlights, which we have already played for you.
A Plague Tale: Requiem
A Plague Tale: Requiem follows on from A Plague Tale: Innocence. Again you accompany Hugo and Amicia through a world full of dangers that need to be avoided, but this time you are not quite so innocent and fight back in an emergency.
Because the two children are now much more defensive. Amicia no longer only uses her slingshot, but is now also armed with a crossbow. But Hugo also has new skills.
Accordingly, there are far more controls to memorize if you want to react reasonably quickly to hazards. You no longer only have to adjust the ammunition, but also switch between weapons in an emergency. However, if you’ve played “A Plague Tale: Innocence”, you should quickly find your way around the controls.
The core of the game also seems to have stayed the same. It’s still more of a stealth game in which you sneak around and hope not to get caught. “A Plague Tale: Requiem” will be released on October 18th for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
