The beta version of Gamestop’s NFT Marketplace has been live for just 48 hours. With 3,167 ETH implemented so far, the launch can of course be described as a success. With a trading volume of the equivalent of 3.4 million US dollars, more capital migrated over the digital shop counter in the first two days than the Coinbase NFT Store turned over in total.
The spicy thing: The Coinbase NFT Marketplace has been around since May of this year. The Gamestop marketplace also pales in comparison to Opensea. According to DappRadar, traders there turn over around 16 million US dollars in value every day – every day.
If you want to convince yourself of the rich offer of digital uniques on the Gamestop Marketplace, you have to be patient. The shop is currently hopelessly overloaded.
