Among the announcements that were highlighted during the last Nacon Connect, we can remember Gangs of Sherwood, the new title from Appeal Studio. And it seems that the universe of Robin Hood inspire French publishers, since after having been entitled to Hood: Outlaws & Legends at Focus Entertainment, it’s now the turn of Nakon to present his own interpretation of the legend with Gangs of Sherwood.
Robin does not play it solo
Dystopian Robin Hood is the pitch of this Gangs of Sherwood. We are offered here to embody the Merry Companions through a PvE-oriented cooperative action gamein which we will have to fight the forces of the Sheriff of Nottingham in order to free the people.
Robin, Marian, Brother Tuck and Little John will take up arms to rob the rich to equip themselves to fight their enemies. Each character will be unique and will have their own skills, with gameplays that are described as being customizable, thanks to unlockable skills. The first teaser shows us some images, but to see more, we will have to wait a few more months.
Gangs of Sherwood does not currently have a precise release date, but the game will be launched sometime in 2023 on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
