A garden hut in Obergnas, southeast Styria, was in full fire on Tuesday morning. The flames were already spreading to trees in an adjacent forest. The fire brigade was able to prevent worse.
The emergency call reached the fire brigade at exactly 11:08 a.m.: The fighters from Obergans, Gnas and Kohlberg moved out with 23 people and five vehicles. When they arrived, the garden shed was already on fire, but the flames were quickly brought under control and it was also prevented from spreading to the immediately adjacent forest. There were no injuries during the operation. The cause of the fire is now being determined by the police.
