Indoor plants beautify the living space. But taking care of plants properly can be a challenge, especially for beginners. These seven plants are suitable for those who do not have a green thumb.

The Monstera is a classic living room plant that exudes an optical jungle flair. If a shady place and regular watering is provided, the Monstera already feels good. Therefore, it is ideal for everyone who wants an uncomplicated plant in the room.

Green lily

The green lily is also widespread in rooms and apartments around the world. It belongs to the asparagus family. The green lily is welcome in a hanging basket that can be placed decoratively in the room. Unlike the monstera, the green lily prefers warm sunlight.

Dragon tree

The dragon tree knows how to visually freshen up the living room or study. It is also easy to care for for those who do not have to deal with plants all the time. He doesn't need a lot of water in winter. Due to its growth, however, it has to be repotted occasionally.

Yucca palm

Yucca palm is also robust and easy to care for. It is originally native to the sunny areas of Central America. Therefore it only needs a little water. In fact, the yucca palm is not a palm in the strict sense of the word. Like the green lily, it belongs to the asparagus family.

Christmas cactus

The Christmas cactus can be seen in colorful blossoms in December. With its colorful existence, it is ideal for creating a mood in the living room during the cold season. In fact, it is actually native to the tropical rainforests of Brazil. It is also suitable for beginners because it likes to grow in peace. A little water may only be added occasionally.

Money tree

The money tree is known by a wide variety of names: for example as a penny tree or thick leaf. Thoughts of unforeseen wealth should, however, put its owners out of their heads. But the easy-care plant is extremely decorative. The money tree likes the sun, but needs comparatively little water.

Despite the beautiful flowers, the amaryllis needs little maintenance. Similar to the money tree, it likes to stand in bright places. The onion-like plant should be regularly supplied with water. Then it is happy and unfolds its beautiful flowers.
