Three shots fired by police officers from the railway network brigade (BRF) rang out at Gare du Nord. The man armed with the knife with a blade of 30 centimeters, on which was an anti-police inscription, had been neutralized and was in cardio-respiratory arrest, medicalized on the spot, revealed France Télévisions from a police source. BFM TV revealed that the individual, of European type, finally died – however, none of the police officers were injured.
