Garmin Venu 3 and 3S watches: more autonomy and wheelchair mode

Specialist in watches and connected devices dedicated to monitoring health and sports performance, the Garmin brand presents its Venu 3 and 3S, bringing a little freshness and some new features to its very good Venu 2 and 2S. As a reminder, the Venu 3 and 3S only differ in their size of 45 mm and 41 mm respectively and have the same features and sensors.

New functions and wheelchair mode

Venu 3 and 3S: two new Venu in the Garmin range

Unsurprisingly, Garmin is taking advantage of this new generation of connected watches to fill up with features. Health-conscious users will be able to discover a new morning report, a sleep coach, daily energy monitoring and analysis of the benefits of training and recovery time.

Less anecdotal, the Venu 3 range gains a wheelchair mode, adapting the monitoring of movements and sports activities to people with reduced mobility. Garmin thus supports people with disabilities, and we can only welcome this approach in favor of social inclusion.

Finally, the new Garmin watch is equipped with microphones and speakers for answering calls and writing text messages by voice. This feature was previously reserved for the Garmin Venu 2 Plus.

Increased autonomy

Venu 3 and 3S: two new Venu in the Garmin range

The autonomy of connected watches remains an essential criterion for those who do not want to be burdened with a watch to be recharged daily. The Garmin Venu 2 and 2S, already satisfactory on this point, will have to bow to the new Venu even more enduring.

Thus, the brand promises up to 14 days of use for the Venu 3 and 10 days for the 3S, which is smaller and therefore logically has a less powerful battery. In GPS mode, the announced autonomy of 26 and 21 hours suggests good progress compared to the previous generation, announced for its part at 10 and 7 p.m.

Price and availability

Venu 3 and 3S: two new Venu in the Garmin range

The new range of Garmin Venu 3 and 3S connected watches is already available.
