The 91st player in the world will face the winner of the match between Pedro Martinez and Steve Johnson in the round of 16. Ilya Ivashka knocked out Peter Gojowczyk in two short sets (6-4/6-2). He will face either Mikael Ymer or Marc-Andra Hsler. Nikoloz Basilashvili, seeded number 6, however, did not go through with a final defeat against the Brazilian Thiago Monteiro. In other games, Jason Kubler and Albert Ramos-Vinolas have passed. The shock of the night will oppose Grigor Dimitrov, seeded number 1, Dominic Thiem. Benjamin Bonzi will play against Kyle Edmund and Jack Draper will face Fabio Fognini.
